This was a brand awareness campaign for Plate. Within the box on the cover of the promotion we adhered a bag of microseeds for the chefs to use.
PlateNight invite and signage
Plate magazine hosts an annual evening of cocktails and hors d'oeuvre to close out the National Restaurants Association (NRA) Conference. This was the invite and signage for that event.
Meatingplace magazine: Slimed cover
This was a special issue covering the news surrounding lean finely textured beef (LFTB) or more popularly known as "Pink Slime." As it is a significant issue within the meat industry we decided to create a special cover. The cover was given a special print process for that reason. It was put on a matte stock, the Slimed is printed with daglow pink and hit with a spot varnish. The Meatingplace logo was also hit with a spot varnish.

This is a company profile that highlights Meatingplace's Knowlton award winner. The Knowlton award is an annual award the Meatingplace awards for exceptional business leadership, innovation, industry leadership and corporate citizenship. I assigned the photography and designed the layouts for the cover and feature story.

Meatingplace magazine: Redesign issue
This was the issue that introduced the a redesign to Meatingplace magazine. My concept for the publication was to reach the readers by reflecting how they saw themselves. Based on a profile I was given I began thinking of our readers as the sophisticated modern cowboy.

Meatingplace magazine: On the Hook cover
This was a special issue covering the news a report that linked cancer to red meat. As it is a significant issue within the meat industry we decided to create a special cover. The cover was given a special print process for that reason. It was put on a matte stock, the red copy is printed with a bright red PMS and hit with a spot varnish. The image was hit with a process called, reticulation. The Meatingplace logo was also hit with a spot varnish.
